You can book your service by submitting a service request here, or by calling us at (224) 457-5657. Once you contact us, we will work with you to book your service. You can choose between a mobile service (discretionary service fee) or drop-off option at our location.
We recommend scheduling your sharpening service bi-annually or quarterly depending on the condition and use of your knives.
Payment is requested at time of service and a payment note can be provided by request.

Service Levels & Pricing
Blade Artes has tiered service levels to meet your sharpening needs based on your budget and desired level of cutting performance.
Tier 1: Factory Edge
This is industry standard belt sharpening at factory edge angles.
$10 per knife
Tier 2: Precision Sharpening
Knives are optimized for cutting performance, sharpened with water-cooled resin bonded diamond, edge angles are measured with known software values. Digital quality control measures are used to ensure the knives have been completely deburred.
$15 per knife
Tier 3: Blade Artes Proprietary Method
(absolutely as sharp as possible)
Precisely calculated edge angles, high speed water-cooled CBN milling of knife edges, advanced quality control measures. Knives are typically measured from 75 to 35 BESS. We are the only known sharpening service that can get results like this consistently and repeatedly.
