SHARPENING SERVICES
We offer mobile, precision knife sharpening in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. There is a $35 trip charge for mobile services under $100 within 10 miles of 60008.
Drop-off at our site is available the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month with a 24-48 hour turnaround time.
Blade Artes uses the Tradesman Edge Apex sharpening system with resin-bonded diamond and CBN abrasives for a water-cooled, more controlled sharpening process.
Unlike whetstones or high-speed grinding, this method preserves blade integrity, minimizes heat damage, and creates a highly refined edge with superior longevity—ideal for home cooks and commercial kitchens.
